Swapped:
Notes from the Teenage Underground by Simmone Howell
Paperback Swap
Last week I declared a book buying ban for the rest of January. I went a little overboard with my purchases to say the least. So I didn't purchase any books this week, but I did get this one through Paperback Swap. I had to spend 10 minutes convincing my husband that swapping and purchasing are not the same thing! I hope that I can hold out until the end of the month. My bending bookshelves will thank me and so will my wallet.
paperback swap so does not count as buying a book :) and i'm proud of you for not buying so far ~ i haven;t either this year APART from a second hand book shop thingy where it was an out of print title. which i don;t think counts either ;)
ReplyDeletealso, i love the cover you guys have for this so much more than our Aussie edition!
xx
Good for you declaring a book buying ban! I'm super impressed that it includes NG, as well! I can't resist NG!
ReplyDeleteThis is definately something I want to read!
ReplyDeleteSwapping is definitely not the same as purchasing! I should probably put myself on a book buying ban, but I don't think that I have the willpower. Good luck with yours and enjoy your reading!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your book buying ban. Hope you enjoy reading this book though.

Swapped looks really interesting! Haha, swapping and purchasing, definitely not the same thing. :D Good luck on your book buying ban!
ReplyDeleteI agree - swapping and purchasing are two different things. Though, you can take care of that bending bookshelf by getting an e-reader. I'm just saying... Though, I don't know if that'll help with the wallet situation!
ReplyDeleteAttack of the Book!
Good luck with the book buying ban! I went on an ebook spree a few weeks ago and have been pretty good since.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you all agree buying is not the same as swapping, haha! It's going to be tough few weeks, but come February 1st, I'm sure I will be at the bookstore. I don't think I can hold off buying Delirium.
ReplyDeleteHey there-Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm ALSO giving away a copy of Patient Zero by Jonathan Maberry, so if you haven't read it, you should go ahead and enter!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
