Author's Note: Can be read as book three of the First Comes Love series, or as a standalone .

College baseball player, Gray Thomas, had to go far out into left field to find a girl like Dylan, the ex-love-of-his-life. More than a year later, literally at a crossroads, they find each other together on a journey that is a pause between a painful past and an uncertain future. In this sexy and offbeat summer read, Gray and Dylan discover that a destination isn't always a place. More often, it's a person. Now it's time for them to finally decide, is this forever?

My Thoughts

I love Gray and Dylan! I mean I love Gray and Dylan. They are two of my favorite characters ever! Katie has given readers a love story that will keep them wondering - are Gray and Dylan going to make it? You think that they might, their friends think that they will, even strangers can see it, but will they ever be able to figure it out for themselves?

Finally, Forever is filled with so much humor and heart. Once you start it you won't want to stop and you will highlight every page with a favorite part that you will always want to remember.

Some of my favorite parts are:

  • The first sentence: "I'm leaning against my car in a parking lot in Omaha, Nebraska, and I'm watching a girl."
  • An unspoken conversation over a bacon scrambler
  • The "Gray Proximity Scale"
      And
  • This line: "Lenny, I'm in trouble."

Is this too cryptic for you? Need more? I guess you'll just have to read the book.

I've read the other books in the First Comes Love series, but Finally, Forever is the part of Dylan and Gray's story that has been a long time coming. It really can be read as a stand-alone, but I hope that readers who read this first will fall in love with Gray and Dylan as much as I have and decide to read their story from the beginning.

I love this book beyond words. I'm constantly recommending it to friends because they need to discover just how wonderful this love story is.
