In My Mailbox (39)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme run by Kristi at The Story Siren which explores the books that have been delivered to our mailbox or doorstep or directly into our hot little hands.

The End of Everything by Megan Abbott
Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Suma
But I Love Him by Amanda Grace (e-book)

More vacation souvenirs. I love visiting book stores on vacation. This week I visited Mysterious Galaxy in San Diego and picked up The End of Everything and Imaginary Girls. I can't wait to see what books everyone else got this week!

  1. THE END OF EVERYTHING has an amazing cover. Thanks for sharing your IMM.

Looking forward to hearing back from you,

  2. I'm really interested in reading But I Love Him. It could be because its told backwards.

    Here's what I got

  3. Ah I have Imaginary Girls, but havnt gotten to it..But I love him and The End of Everything look and sound soooo good!(: Great IMM!

  4. The End of Everything sounds really good! I'm gonna have to check that one out.

  5. I've heard good things about both IMAGINARY GIRLS and BUT I LOVE HIM. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on them!

  6. mfay2 - I haven't started reading But I Love Him yet, but they way the story is told backwards was appealing to me. I've read some pretty heavy books lately so I'm not sure how soon I will get to it.

Beth S., Cory and Haley - I first found out about The End of Everything on goodreads. I think there was a giveaway that I entered but didn't win. It sounds really interesting and when I walked in the bookstore the other day, it was the very first book I saw (and I wasn't even looking for it). It's not YA but it has YA characters. I hope to get to it soon.

Jess - Imaginary Girls has been all of the blogs lately but I wasn't planning to get it. It was an impulse buy (as a lot of them have been lately). Thanks for stopping by.

  7. A great haul! Awesome stuff... I can't wait to read But I Love Him :)

  8. But I Love Him sounds like a really great book and it's been on my wishlist since it came out! The cover reminds me of Twenty Boy Summer, and another books, but I forgot the title:/
Anyways, awesome books and I hope you enjoy them(:
