Bout of Books 6.0

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon
Official Blurb
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 6.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. -From the Bout of Books 6.0 team

I can never pass up the opportunity to participate in the Bout of Books read-a-thon. It's a great time to connect with other readers and bloggers and knock a few books off of the TBR pile. I did a lot of reading during the holidays and don't want to suffer from reader's burnout at the beginning of the new year, so I'm keeping my goals to a manageable minimum.

My Goals:

Read for Review:
The Namesake by Steven Parlato
And By the Way . . . by Denise Deegan
Finish Delirium by Lauren Oliver Audiobook
Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver Audiobook

Read a few chapters of Pride and Prejudice
(because I will finish it some time)

If any of my readers are participating in the Bout of Books Read-a-thon, please let me know in the comments below. I'll make sure to stop by your blog and cheer you along!

  1. Simple but totally reasonable goals :)

I'd like to read Pride & Prejudice someday, too. It's my fave Jane Austen story but reading it is a bit daunting!

    Good luck!

  2. Love your goals. Good luck and have fun ;)

  3. I'm ready to get started! I think Pride and Prejudice is the only one of Austen's I've read, I need to try another one some time! Good luck with your goals, enjoy your reading!

  4. Oooof. Pride and Prejudice. Good luck with that one! I totally threw my hands up the last time I tried to read it. Have fun with the readathon!

  5. Pandemonium is on my list too! I really liked Delirium :)

Good luck on your goals and happy reading!

  6. I love your goals. Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it.
