Waiting on Wednesday - Audition

Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

Publication Date: October 13, 2011

When high school junior Sara wins a coveted scholarship to study ballet, she must sacrifice everything for her new life as a professional dancer-in-training. Living in a strange city with a host family, she's deeply lonely-until she falls into the arms of Remington, a choreographer in his early twenties. At first, she loves being Rem's muse, but as she discovers a surprising passion for writing, she begins to question whether she's chosen the right path. Is Rem using her, or is it the other way around? And is dancing still her dream, or does she need something more? This debut novel in verse is as intense and romantic as it is eloquent. This story sounds like it will be very moving and one that I will absolutely love. And I love novels written verse - I think I've said that many times here - and that is an added bonus. It comes out in October, so I won't be waiting that long,

  1. I saw this on someone else's WoW last week, and it completely caught my eye. I forgot about it, but thanks for choosing this one to remind me about it! Haha, it still sounds as interesting as it did last week. Excellent pick! :)

    My WoW :)

  2. I like novels written in verse too! So much fun to read...and a more creative way to tell a story.

  3. I'm looking forward to this one too.

  4. Nice choice! I'll have to keep an eye out for this one. Thanks for sharing!

YA Paranormal Romance, Darkspell coming fall of 2011!

  7. I cannot wait for this book! It was actually my first WoW choice. Great pick!
